John is a seasoned professional with over 40 years of experience in both the nonprofit and real estate industries. His real estate business in metro Atlanta consists of three specialized companies:
Innovative Properties Group for residential home sales.
Alpha Dog Capital for buying distressed single-family houses for resale or cash flow generation.
Georgia Rental Group for property management of single-family houses and multi-family apartments.
In the nonprofit world, John's expertise spans philanthropy, fund raising, education, cultural anthropology, comparative religious training, cross-cultural communication, and community development.
John's journey in real estate began as a landlord of a rental property in metro Washington, D.C., and then expanded to include the purchase of raw land in a rural community in southern Virginia where he learned about the timber industry. In 2012, John analyzed over 1,000 single-family properties for hedge funds buying distressed assets in the Atlanta area and facilitated the acquisition of over 100 properties that year.
