Biography of Jan Wilson I am a full-time real estate agent who believes that "good service" to his clients is what sets one agent apart from another. I accomplish this by staying in touch with the client each step of the way. I have been a Nevada County resident for 50 years and graduated from Nevada Union High School in 1976. I received my real estate license in 1982 and immediately went to work for Rolling Hills Realty in Penn Valley, California until May of 2009. The company was an unfortunate victim of the down economy and had to close its doors. While at Rolling Hills Realty I was the top producing agent 13 out of the last 14 years prior to the companies closing. No other agent in the companies 36-year history had ever been the top producing agent for that many years in a row. After a 14 year stop at another local real estate agency, I am now an agent for RE/Max Gold Real Estate in Grass Valley, California. They have been in business for 10 years here in Nevada County, have over 64 agents between seven offices and are consistently one of the top local companies for overall sales here in western Nevada County. The Nevada County Association of Realtors started a "Master's Club" in 1999. This was created to recognize the top 5% of all agents in Nevada County. To qualify each year, agents had to achieve a predetermined sales volume for that year. I have qualified as member of the "Master's Club" since its inception except for one year. I am a member of the Nevada County Association of Realtors, served as a past director of the board and am again serving on the board of directors. My hobbies include fishing, senior basketball and softball.
