About Me
As a Bloomington Normal native I have experienced the highs and lows of McLean Counties housing market. Doug and Becky Gerig are my parents who retain over 60 years of COMBINED experience in residential and commercial real estate. Because of them I have been immersed in this industry since I was a little girl. I have been blessed to be able to have two of the industries leaders as mentors at my fingertips to acquire the ins outs of this trade. Why Real Estate? After earning my Associates from Blinn College and my BS from Arkansas State University, I worked in the hair industry as a licensed cosmetologist. Because of an injury to my elbow I had to retire my blow dryer and shears, I shifted careers and have become a part of one of the top selling teams in Bloomington Normal “The Becky Gerig Team” - on an average closing over 89 properties.
