A life-long Galveston County resident with a passion for helping others , Dixie Sholmire brings almost 2 decades of sales experience and a reputation for honesty, trustworthiness and superior negotiating skills to RE/MAX.
Born and raised in the industrial town of Texas City, Dixie has spent the 18 years as a full time Realtor, scouring the real estate market to find that perfect property for each of her clients. Leveraging her extensive network and mastery of the area's most desirable neighborhoods, Dixie is a multi-million dollar top producer and serves as an invaluable resource to a diverse set of buyers and sellers across Texas. Patient, genuine and committed to her clients' success, Dixie offers her clients invaluable insight into the lifestyle afforded by each neighborhood, along with a keen eye for interior design and a knack for seeing potential in every property.
A proud mom of 2 adult boys, when Dixie is not searching for the perfect property for a client, she enjoys relaxing by the pool, gardening and listening to audiobooks. She also devotes her time and resources to The Rotary Club of Texas City where she serves on the board of directors and chairman of the gala, their largest fundraiser each year. As a mother of 2 medically challenged children, she often campaigns and fundraises for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Texas Children's Hospital, 2 organizations near and dear to her heart.
