Derrick grew up in Texas and joined the military serving in the United States Army for over 14 years; he really knows the meaning of determination, respect and self-less service. He has worked many different styles of transactions in the Fort Bend area and has since built a successful career in real estate in the Greater Houston area. He is an outstanding well rounded Agent that does it all by representing sellers, buyers, tenants, landlords and has many contacts to get you the best deal in new construction. Derrick is thorough and pays close attention to the detail his clients are needing and wanting. He believes in preparing his clients for one of the most important decisions in their lives. He strives to be the best in his profession by educating his clients throughout every step of the process, providing vital information for the sale or purchase of a home, market insight and even better; a very easy professional to work with. Derrick is mentored by one of the most successful RE/MAX Broker/Owners in all of America, Nimesh Patel, who owns and operates RE/MAX Fine Properties. He has since partnered with him creating The Fine Realty Group, with three agents, a listing coordinator and a marketing coordinator! The Fine Realty Group has won several prestigious awards, most recently being the coveted Chairman's Award given to only the Top agents and teams throughout the world. Nimesh has also recently received the RE/MAX of Texas Broker/Owner of the Year in 2014, just three years after receiving it prior in 2011! Derrick is a car enthusiast at heart, loves spending time with his family, and showing clients the best that the Greater Houston area has to offer.
