I am a former teacher, which helps me guide new buyers, specifically, and all buyers and sellers, as I have great communication skills. I am married and currently live in the country with our horses, dogs and cats on the east side of Kansas City. I have lived in several parts of the KC metro, attended college here, and have friends throughout the metro. Between that and my realtor work, I am familiar with all of the KC metro on both sides of the state line. When I decided to retire from teaching, I immediately turned to real estate, because I love houses. I have owned numerous homes, including two on acreage (horse properties) in various parts of the KC metro. I have had two homes built; I acted as my own general contractor on one of those. These experiences, and a general DIY leaning, have given me a greater-than-ordinary knowledge of homes and how they work.
