Dan Murphy spent over 50 years living in Southern California, where he built both his family life and a highly successful real estate career. He met his wife, Jennifer, and the two married within a year, purchasing their first home in Simi Valley, California in 1998. Today, they celebrate 28 years of marriage and are proud parents of three children — a 26-year-old son and 24-year-old twin daughters. Dan began his real estate career in 2004 following a disappointing experience with an agent of his own. Determined to do better for others, he joined a small independent brokerage before affiliating with RE/MAX in 2006. With his marketing background and the support of the world’s largest real estate network, his business quickly flourished. Over the course of his career, Dan has sold more than 700 homes throughout Southern California and Tennessee, and has facilitated referrals worldwide through the RE/MAX global network. He has also served as a RE/MAX office manager, where he was responsible for agent growth, mentorship, and overall office success. Dan has achieved the RE/MAX Platinum Sales Award for 10 consecutive years and earned the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017. In 2019 and 2020, he ranked in the top 1% of more than 130,000 RE/MAX agents worldwide. He is also a passionate advocate for Children’s Miracle Network, donating a portion of every closing to support their mission. In November 2020, Dan and his family relocated to Franklin, Tennessee, drawn by the area’s strong values, sense of community, and southern charm. Since the move, they have embraced everything Tennessee has to offer. Dan obtained his Tennessee real estate license in 2021 and joined RE/MAX Homes and Estates | Lipman Group. Continuing to build momentum in a new market, he was honored with the RE/MAX Titan Award in 2024 and 2025.
