Craig Helmecki with REMAX at the Beach in Calabash brings more than 20 years of experience as a real estate agent serving clients across both North and South Carolina, helping buyers and sellers navigate the coastal market with clear guidance and a relationship driven approach. Originally from Connecticut, Craig moved to the coastal Carolinas more than two decades ago and quickly embraced the lifestyle that draws so many people to the area. Today, he works alongside his business partner Cheryl Helmecki as part of The Real Team, assisting clients as they buy, sell, and invest along the coast. Craig studied at Central Connecticut State University, where he also played Division I baseball. Before entering real estate, he worked in the casino industry, an environment that required constant communication with people from all walks of life. Those experiences continue to shape how he serves clients today. Known for truly listening and understanding what matters most to the people he works with, Craig focuses on providing thoughtful guidance throughout the buying and selling process so clients feel informed and confident from the first conversation through closing. After more than 20 years in the area, Craig still appreciates the same things that first drew him to coastal North Carolina. The beaches, golf courses, and attractions bring visitors from across the country, and he enjoys helping many of them turn a vacation destination into a place they can call home. Outside of real estate, Craig enjoys spending time with his wife Dianne, their six children and six grandchildren. A lifelong sports fan, he has coached youth sports for many years and enjoys sports history and trivia. Craig proudly serves clients throughout Brunswick County, NC, including Calabash, Carolina Shores, Ocean Isle Beach, and Sunset Beach, as well as nearby communities across Horry County, SC. If you are considering buying or selling along the coast, reach out to Craig to start the conversation.
