About Me
Clifton B. Ingram Jr. was born in Winston-Salem, NC, and raised right down the road from "Mayberry" in Pilot Mountain, NC. He was a scholar- athlete and third generation alumni at Auburn University in Alabama. After attaining his “B.S.” degree (2000) with a focus in “MIS” he was a software consultant for IBM (2003) where he traveled widely. Asheville, NC area became his playground for a dozen years where he became immersed in music and “the trades." He played in a few bands, "Hoof Hearted" and "Free Grass Revival." and met his life partner, Melissa and had a child Leona Hazel (2010) Together they purchased a home in Sylva, close to Fairview Elementary where Melissa works and Leona learns circa 2016. In 2018 Clifton B. Ingram Jr. was the Libertarian candidate for U.S. House of Representatives - NC District 11. In 2019 he was part owner and full time operator for S&I Lawn Care service while taking Real Estate pre-licensing coursework at Southwestern Community College. 2020 he joined Apple Realty, LLC shortly before the Covid-19 pandemic and currently works at RE/MAX Awenasa in downtown Sylva. He has remained a Licensed General Contractor since 2014 and picks up contract work from time to time. He is known for his easy going, yet professional demeanor. You might say he is "refreshingly eccentric, yet down to Earth at the same time."
