About Me
As a nearly life-long resident of Washington County, I know the area I serve very well. This work is important, and I am grateful for the opportunity. I am a dedicated, full time Realtor, with 18 years of experience, serving those who buy, sell, build, lease or rent in Minnesota. I am motivated by a deep desire to make a lasting, positive difference in my clients’ lives. This work, when done well, helps secure and improve my clients’ future for decades to come. By using a client-centered philosophy, constant innovation, and by doing more than other Realtors, I maximize outcomes for my client. I have received the client satisfaction and reputation “Super Real Estate Agent” award from Mpls/StPaul and Twin Cities Business Monthly magazines 15 times now, which I see as evidence that people find my approach preferable to other options. By volume, I am one of the top Realtors in the Twin Cities and have been for some time, because we are committed to doing more for our clients and doing it better. While keenly competitive, I have never been or ever will be primarily motivated by money. I work in the best interests of my clients, always taking a no-pressure, consultative approach as they consider their real estate futures, regardless of how this might affect commission income. I proceed in my work from a belief that our best mission is to be of service to each other. I am here to help my clients holistically, so they succeed in real estate, and in life.
I was born in Stillwater, MN and graduated from The University of Minnesota. I’ve lived in Woodbury, MN since 1990, and have been married to my wife Deb for 33 years. We have been blessed by our three wonderful now adult children, Josh, Noah and Maggie. Interests other than real estate include youth coaching, vegetable gardening and pursuit and adoption of green ways of living. I am an active volunteer and financial contributor to local organizations, especially the schools.
