Christa Skousen
Broker, REALTOR®
Christa's experience in real estate began years before earning her license. As a longtime property investor, Christa has built her own portfolio of investment properties, giving her firsthand experience with buying, owning, and understanding the potential of real estate. She specializes in single-family residential homes and rental investment properties and enjoys helping clients achieve their goals, whether they are purchasing their first home, making a move, or building wealth through real estate. Having lived in Davis County for more than 13 years and Utah County for eight years before that, Christa brings valuable knowledge of the communities and neighborhoods throughout the area. Her professional background also gives her a unique approach to real estate. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Print Journalism from Brigham Young University and worked as a journalist before transitioning into Human Resources for a real estate software company. Those experiences strengthened her communication skills, taught her how to ask the right questions, and provided a behind-the-scenes understanding of the real estate industry. Christa joined REMAX because of its strong reputation and the opportunity to surround herself with driven, hardworking professionals who consistently deliver results. She is passionate about helping people navigate one of life’s biggest investments and strives to make every client feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the process. Outside of real estate, Christa enjoys taking advantage of Utah’s beautiful outdoors through running, hiking, mountain biking, and skiing. A busy mom of five, she spends plenty of evenings shuttling kids to activities and enjoys good company, good food, and a great book whenever she gets the chance. Originally from the suburbs of New York, Christa has called Utah home for more than 20 years and is proud to help others find their own place to call home here.
