Hey there, I'm April Barbee – a proud mom of three amazing young men and a seasoned professional in real estate and interior design. Originally from Albemarle, NC, I've called Horry County home for the past 28 years. My journey in real estate spans two decades, during which I've helped countless clients find their perfect properties and witnessed the joy that comes with turning a client's dreams of home ownership into a reality.
As the owner of Adorn by Barbee, my interior decorating business, I pour my heart into every project, aiming to make people happy by creating spaces that truly feel like home. There's nothing quite like seeing the delight in my clients' eyes when they step into the space they've always dreamed of. That applies to being a real estate agent and decorator. My goal is that each of my clients feel they are not just getting a dedicated real estate agent or interior decorator – they're gaining a trusted partner who is genuinely invested in their happiness and well-being.
Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my family and friends, hosting gatherings, and actively engaging in my community. Our area has so many things to offer from the beaches, rivers, festivals, shops, dining, concerts and more. hometown will always hold a special place in my heart, but I call the beach home!
