Amy Becker
Associate
For Amy Becker, real estate is about much more than buying and selling houses—it’s about helping people find the place where their lives happen. Whether it’s a first home, a place to raise a family, or simply the right home for the next chapter, Amy enjoys the challenge of listening to what her clients need and working hard to help them find it. A West Texas native, Amy grew up in San Angelo before spending 16 years in Midland. Her professional background has taken her down several different paths, all of which have shaped the way she approaches real estate today. Amy spent six years working in oil and gas safety, where attention to detail, responsibility, and looking out for others were part of the job every day. She also spent two years photographing real estate in Midland, developing an appreciation for the details and unique character that make each property stand out. She continues to enjoy photography, particularly landscapes and working ranch life. After moving to Clyde, Amy's friend—and now mentor—Whitney encouraged her to take the real estate exam. That encouragement opened the door to a career that brings together many of the things Amy enjoys most: meeting people, solving problems, exploring properties, and helping families find the right place to call home. As a Realtor with Big Country RE/MAX, Amy strives to make every client feel heard, understood, and genuinely cared for. She is hardworking, detail-oriented, and never afraid of a challenge. Her goal is simple: to understand what her clients are looking for and then go above and beyond to help make it happen. When she’s not working, Amy enjoys traveling, experiencing new places, trying new cuisines, reading history, leatherwork, hunting, photography, and listening to good music. And then there’s Ray, her corgi and self-appointed personal furry dictator. Ray is also the undisputed center of attention whenever he visits the office—which Amy considers perfectly acceptable.
