About Me

Amanda grew up with real estate in her blood. Her mother switched careers at age 30 and started as an agent herself, and Amanda watched on with child eyes as her single mother worked her way from the bottom to now running a title company and co-owning a RE/MAX in Waco. As Amanda grew up, she worked at her mother and stepfather’s title company and engaged in meaningful conversations nightly at the dinner table with her real estate attorney stepfather, which allowed for spurious conversations about real estate and business. However, instead of following in her parents’ footsteps immediately, Amanda wanted to pave her own way. Thus, Amanda went on and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Dallas Baptist University before completing her Master of Education in Counseling at Texas Christian University. Throughout her time at TCU, she worked at their Writing Center as well. Upon graduation, she edited two books independently while working as a counselor in a substance abuse facility for teens. Afterwards, she helped teens as a guidance counselor at a local high school before her son, Owen, was born. At that time, she chose to stay home and care for her busy, non-sleeping baby. Throughout her time at home, Amanda unearthed a desire to run her own business. Amanda did not want to conform to the traditional work schedule and wanted to pursue a career where she could help people and utilize her creativity and business mindset. Her love of houses spurred her to, finally (and much to her parents’ delight), choose real estate. After going through a stressful home-buying process herself, Amanda knew she wanted to bring a simplicity and warmth to the real estate experience for clients. She now uses her attention-to-detail mindset from editing and her empathetic heart from counseling to create a memorable real estate experience. She is a member of the Greater Fort Worth Association of REALTOR®s, the Texas Association of REALTOR®s, and the National Association of REALTOR®s.
