REMAX Land & Homes on the Bay
ALAINA COOKSON
Associate
Hi, I’m Alaina Cookson – your neighbor, your guide, and your advocate on your journey HOME. Real estate isn’t just about houses—it’s about the lives we build inside them. As a Calhoun County local, a busy mom of four, and a Realtor with RE/MAX Land & Homes on the Bay, I understand what “home” truly means. Whether you’re buying your first home, upgrading for a growing family, downsizing or looking for that perfect coastal getaway, I’m here to make the process as smooth (and even fun!) as possible. Before real estate, I wore a lot of hats—elementary school teacher, fitness coach, staging designer and real estate assistant—and every experience shaped the way I serve my clients today. From teaching, I learned patience and the art of clear communication. From fitness, I learned discipline, motivation, and how to create a plan that works for you. And from staging, I gained an eye for what makes a home shine—helping buyers see its potential and sellers get top dollar. I cut my teeth in the real estate world as an assistant to a respected veteran agent, learning the ropes from the ground up. Today, I combine that hands-on knowledge with a genuine love for helping people find their place in this beautiful corner of the Texas Gulf Coast. When we work together, you won’t just get a Realtor—you’ll get a partner who listens, a local guide, and someone who cares about your story as much as the sale. So whether you’re buying, selling, or just dreaming about what’s next, I’d be honored to walk this journey with you. Let me be your guide on your journey HOME!
