There are approximately 10 bus lines traversing the township, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. Getting around as a pedestrian is not particularly convenient for residents in Wayne as few common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. Wayne is also not especially cycling-friendly because there are few bike lanes, and bicycling is rendered strenuous by the typically hilly terrain.

Moreover, those who like to dine in restaurants will have a fair number of choices, and a limited selection of coffee shops is available as well. As far as education is concerned, residents will find that wherever their home is situated in this township, primary schools are close by. However, it can be challenging to reach high schools without a car. Along with public schools, there are private elementary and high schools.
