Clark
The Mesa features a peaceful and tranquil setting with low noise levels throughout its streets. The neighborhood's housing mainly consists of spacious three and four-bedroom single detached homes built after the year 2000, providing modern layouts and designs. Parking availability is convenient, supporting easy transportation around the area. Residents can access several nearby parks for outdoor recreation and green space appreciation. Public transportation options are minimal, making private vehicles the primary mode of transit. Although cycling infrastructure is limited and terrain includes some slopes, the overall neighborhood delivers a calm and comfortable environment with well-maintained housing and readily accessible green areas.
Driving is a reasonably good transportation option in The Mesa. It is very easy to find a place to park. However, public transit users may experience very limited choices in The Mesa by reason of the low service level. The Mesa is not very conducive to bicycling because the cycling infrastructure is somewhat poor, and there are a good number of elevation changes. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of the community are located in places that are also not very suitable for people who travel as pedestrians because few daily errands can be run without a vehicle.
It is sometimes feasible for property owners in The Mesa to access the closest supermarket as pedestrians. On the other hand, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner, and there are a few cafes in this neighborhood. When it comes to education, high schools and primary schools are not very abundant in The Mesa, and therefore tend to be an extended trip away. At the secondary level, both public and private schools can be found.
The Mesa is unique in that it has both vibrant and quiet areas, making it appealing to more people. Even though the atmosphere is not the liveliest in this area with the bars in nearby neighborhoods, it is occasionally hard to find a place to grab a drink because they are generally located within a short distance. At the same time, this part of Summerlin South is especially quiet overall, as the streets are very peaceful. Parks aren't well-distributed, which makes it occasionally difficult to reach them from numerous locations in the neighborhood. Despite that, there are a few green spaces close by for residents to visit, such as Mesa Park.
