Sunol is not very suitable for pedestrians as carrying out daily needs is practically impossible without the use of a car. Although there is a reasonably high density of cyclists, the bicycle is a somewhat poor means of transportation in this community as there are very few bike lanes, and there are a good number of elevation changes.
