Transportation
Driving is a very good means of transportation in Sun Valley. It is very easy to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in Sun Valley is not very frequent. Thankfully, the community is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. Sun Valley is not especially cycling-friendly since there are few bike lanes, and traveling by bicycle is rendered strenuous by the typically steep topography. This community is also not very well-suited for those who get around as pedestrians as running daily errands is difficult without a vehicle.
Services
Primary schools are convenient to get to without a car from any location in this part of the Reno metropolitan area. In contrast, there are only a very small number of high schools and accordingly they can be a very long distance away. As far as eating is concerned, a grocery store is ordinarily reachable within a rather short trip from most properties for sale in Sun Valley. Residents benefit from over 50 restaurants and coffee shops as well.
Character
The character of Sun Valley is exemplified by its slower-paced ambience. The noise levels in Sun Valley are especially low, as the streets are generally very calm. The majority of locations within the community have fairly good access to public green spaces, such as Wildcreek Park and Wedekind Regional Park, since they aren't well-situated. Despite that, there are about 30 green spaces close by for residents to relax in.
