Driving is often the best method to move around in Steilacoom. Finding a parking spot is easy. However, Steilacoom is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the town is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most houses. The bike is a reasonably good method of transportation in Steilacoom. Many of the homes for sale in this town are located in areas that are not very well-suited for people who get around as pedestrians as very few daily errands can be run without a car.
