Getting around by car is very easy in this part of the New Orleans metropolitan area. It is very convenient to park. Many of the homes for sale in this part of the New Orleans metropolitan area are located in places that are not very suitable for pedestrians since running common errands is impractical without a car. This community is also not very bike-friendly because the cycling network is not very well-developed. Nevertheless, bicycle riders do not encounter serious hills.

Services

There are only a few high schools and primary schools in St. Rose and accordingly they can be a rather long trip away. As far as eating is concerned, property owners in this community commonly need a car to purchase groceries. A limited number of restaurants can be found in St. Rose as well.

Character

Home buyers who prefer a slower-paced ambience will enjoy St. Rose. St. Rose is quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamor - although there are still several noisier sections, especially close to I-310, the airport (St Charles) or one of the railway lines. Parks aren't well-situated, which makes it rather challenging to reach them from the majority of locations within the community. Despite that, there are a few green spaces close by for residents to unwind in.
