This part of Boise City is very car friendly. It is very easy to come across a parking spot. In contrast, the public transit infrastructure in Somerset is quite bad. Nonetheless, house owners are served by a few bus lines, and it is easy to find a nearby bus stop from most properties. Moving around by bicycle is convenient in Somerset. Many of the homes for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are not especially conducive to pedestrians because running common errands is at times difficult without a car, and there are also a fair number of businesses in proximity.

House buyers in Somerset often have to turn to a car to access the nearest grocery store. On the other hand, there are a fair number of options in close proximity for those who appreciate restaurants and cafes.
