This neighborhood is an extremely good area for traveling by car. The majority of houses for sale are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway, and coming across a place to park is easy. In contrast, the transit access in Shand Tract is not very accessible. Nevertheless, train stations, including the Devon and Strafford on the Paoli / Thorndale Line and Paoli/Thorndale Line, are ordinarily within a short distance from the bulk of houses in the neighborhood. There are a few bus lines traversing the neighborhood, and bus stops are not particularly far from most homes. Traveling as a pedestrian is not very common in this area, although running daily errands is easy without the use of a vehicle. This neighborhood is also not very cycling-friendly as there are a fair number of hills, and the bicycling infrastructure is rather limited.
