Traveling by bicycle is occasionally difficult in Scio because there are few bike lanes, and the topography is not particularly flat. This area is also not very well-suited for people who like to get around as pedestrians since running daily errands is difficult without needing a car.

High schools and primary schools are not plentiful in Scio, and therefore tend to require a very long trip to get to.
