Driving is very often the favored transportation option in this part of the Greater Phoenix metropolitan area. It is especially convenient to access a parking spot. Commuting by bicycle is challenging in Sacaton because there are few bike lanes. Thankfully, it is an even ride to most destinations. This part of the Greater Phoenix metropolitan area is also not very convenient for pedestrians since running daily errands is very inconvenient without the use of a vehicle.

There are only a few high schools and primary schools in Sacaton and therefore they can be a long distance away. With respect to eating, shopping for one's groceries usually requires the use of a car in this community.
