While automobile travel is especially smooth with plenty of parking available, an extensive cycling network covers the area, affording varied outdoor routes, despite the presence of some hills.

This part of the city is a very good part of Temecula for moving around by car. It is especially convenient to park. On the other hand, the transit access in Redhawk is not very practical. Thankfully, homeowners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually close by. It is at times challenging to commute by bicycle in this area because there are quite a few slopes. Thankfully, there are a fair number of bike lanes. This part of Temecula is also not very suitable for people who like to travel as pedestrians because very few common errands can be run without a vehicle.

It is a rather short pedestrian trip to reach both primary and secondary schools from anywhere in this area. With regards to food, in all but a limited number of cases, a car is required in Redhawk to access one of approximately 10 supermarkets. However, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner, and home buyers are served by a few cafes as well.

The character of Redhawk is exemplified by its relaxed atmosphere. It is very easy to reach parks in the neighborhood since there are over 100 of them close by for residents to discover. This part of the city is very quiet overall, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic.
