Despite the fact that there is a fairly high density of bike riders, getting around by bicycle is very hard in this community because there are a good number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave, and the cycling network is quite bad. Paxson is also not very well-suited for pedestrians as carrying out day-to-day needs is practically impossible without a car.
There are no high schools and no primary schools in Paxson. When it comes to food, in all cases, a vehicle is needed to buy groceries.
