On the other hand, it is difficult to travel by bike in this part of the city because the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive, and there are a good number of slopes. Pacoima is very car friendly. It is easy to park, and the majority of real estate listings are a very short drive from the nearest highway, such as Simi Valley Freeway. However, the transit service in Pacoima is fairly poor. Thankfully, residents benefit from about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes.

It is usually possible for property owners in this part of the city to purchase groceries as pedestrians. Finally, most areas of this neighborhood are very serene and quiet, but some other parts can be noisy, especially near the airport (Whiteman), the railway line, Ronald Reagan Freeway or I-5.
