The car is usually the best approach to navigate Pacific. It is easy to access a parking spot, and nearby highways, such as US Hwy 50, are moderately easy to drive to from any home in this part of the St. Louis metropolitan area. It is difficult to travel by bicycle in this city since the cycling network is rather poor, and there is a considerable amount of hills. Traveling as a pedestrian is also not very practical for residents in Pacific as meeting daily needs is at times challenging without the use of a car.
