Old Hill is an extraordinarily good part of Westport for traveling by car. Coming across a place to park is quite easy. On the other hand, the public transit service in Old Hill is not very frequent. Thankfully, property owners are served by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is typically a short distance away. Old Hill is not very conducive to bicycling because the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive, and cyclists are faced with a considerable amount of slopes. Traveling as a pedestrian in this neighborhood is also not very common, even though many daily needs can be met without a car, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well.

It is a rather short pedestrian trip to reach both primary and secondary schools from most houses for sale in Old Hill. Locals benefit from public and private elementary schools. In terms of food, the closest grocery store in this area is generally only a reasonably short trip away.
