Driving is a great medium of transportation in Northpoint. It is especially convenient to find a parking spot, and many real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway. On the other hand, commuting by public transit is difficult in Northpoint. Nevertheless, the neighborhood is served by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is typically around the corner. Getting around as a pedestrian is not particularly practical for home buyers in Northpoint since few daily needs can be carried out without needing a vehicle. It is also at times difficult to travel by bicycle in this part of Redding as there are few bike lanes, and there are quite a few hills. Nevertheless, there is a high density of cyclists.
