North Valleys offers a peaceful community with low traffic noise, creating a quiet and inviting atmosphere. Proximity to local restaurants and grocery stores ensures daily needs are met with ease by vehicle in this charming area.

Nearby highways are moderately easy to reach from any location in this part of the Reno metropolitan area, and it is straightforward to park. In contrast, traveling by transit can be very hard in North Valleys due to the infrequent service. Getting around by bicycle is occasionally difficult in North Valleys as there are a fair number of elevation changes, and there are few bike lanes. Traveling as a pedestrian is also not very feasible for residents in this community because very few day-to-day errands can be run without a vehicle.
Primary schools are easy to access as a pedestrian from most houses for sale in North Valleys. In contrast, high schools are not abundant and therefore may require a very long distance to get to. With respect to food, property owners in North Valleys commonly have to rely on a vehicle to shop for their groceries in one of approximately 10 stores. There are also a few choices for those who care about nearby restaurants.
North Valleys offers a calm atmosphere and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. Most areas in this community are especially quiet, as the streets are generally very tranquil. Finally, green spaces, including Dorothy McAlinden/Mayor's Park and Golden Valley Park, are very well-situated and there are about 30 of them close by for residents to discover, making them easy to access from the majority of locations in this community.
