It is inconvenient for pedestrians to get around in this area because running common errands is challenging without a car. The bike is a rather limited means of transportation in North Hills because the topography is not particularly flat, and the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive.

There are only a few primary schools in North Hills and consequently they can be a rather long distance away. Likewise, this area does not contain any high schools.
