North Haven is very car friendly. The majority of real estate listings are a rather short drive from the closest highway, such as I-91, and it is very convenient to park. On the other hand, commuting by transit can be difficult in North Haven as a result of the service's low frequency. Thankfully, the community is linked by approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. Getting around as a pedestrian in North Haven is not very popular, although most daily needs are convenient to meet without the use of a car. North Haven is also not very bike-friendly as there are few bike lanes, and the area is not particularly flat.
Services
It is a reasonably short distance to get to primary schools from most properties for sale in North Haven. On the other hand, there are only a few high schools and thus they can be an extended pedestrian trip away. Locals are served by public and private schools at both the elementary and secondary school level. With regards to food, a car is often needed in North Haven to access one of approximately 20 supermarkets. Nevertheless, getting to the closest pharmacy and thus some staple foods is usually easy.
