In contrast, it is challenging to commute by bicycle in this part of the city as riding is made strenuous by the typically hilly topography, and this neighborhood has rather poor bicycling infrastructure. Driving is an excellent mode of transportation in this neighborhood. Accessing a place to park is quite easy, and the majority of real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway, such as I-93. In contrast, this part of Manchester is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighborhood is connected by a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop.

Property owners in North End will welcome that a grocery store is always only a reasonably short distance away. Additionally, those who like to eat in restaurants will have a good number of options, and a small selection of coffee shops is available as well. As far as education is concerned, residents will appreciate the proximity to primary schools, which are within a short distance from most, if not all, properties for sale in North End. On the other hand, high schools are not especially abundant and consequently may require a rather long trip to get to. North End is appealing, as it contains both vibrant and quiet areas. Even though the atmosphere is not the most lively in this part of the city with the bars in nearby neighborhoods, it is rather challenging to find a place to grab a drink because they are generally located relatively far away. At the same time, this part of Manchester is very quiet overall, as the streets are usually very calm.
