Newmarket is not very bicycling-friendly as there are few bike lanes, and bicycling is made arduous by the often hilly terrain. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of the Greater Boston metropolitan area are located in places that are also not very suitable for people who like to get around as pedestrians because very few daily needs can be met without a car.
