Needles is especially car friendly. It is very convenient to find a parking spot, and nearby highways, such as US Rte 95, are very easy to access from anywhere in this city. However, the transit in Needles is rather poor. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually very close by. Even though the topography is flat, this city is not very amenable to cycling because there are few bike lanes. Traveling as a pedestrian is also not very practical for residents in Needles because most daily needs are impractical to meet without a vehicle.
