Stonington
Mystic, Connecticut, offers a tranquil living environment with a notable proportion of charming older homes built before 1960. The neighborhood primarily features single detached residences, alongside several spacious apartment buildings and duplexes, providing diverse housing options mainly comprising two- and three-bedroom layouts. Accessibility by car is convenient, with most residences located within a short drive of highway access points and ample parking available. Grocery stores and dining options are accessible nearby, catering to everyday needs. The area is pleasantly serene with low street activity, providing a peaceful atmosphere for residents seeking calm surroundings.
Mystic is an extraordinarily good part of the Norwich-New London metropolitan area for moving around by car. Most homes for sale are a rather short drive from the closest highway, and it is very easy to come across a place to park. Cycling is at times challenging in Mystic because the bicycling network is not very comprehensive, and riding is rendered difficult by the typically hilly terrain. Traveling as a pedestrian is also not very popular in Mystic, even though many daily errands can be run without a vehicle.
Primary schools are not particularly abundant in Mystic, and therefore not always within a short distance, and there are no high schools. When it comes to eating, it is difficult to get to the nearest grocery store as a pedestrian from anywhere in this part of the Norwich-New London metropolitan area. In addition, Mystic is a good place in which to go out to eat, and there are also a few coffee shops in this community. House buyers benefit from a good number of clothing stores within a short distance.
Mystic offers a variety of experiences for home buyers who enjoy a vibrant atmosphere. Even though the ambience is not the liveliest in this community with its approximately 10 nightlife venues, there are options for nighttime activities. This part of the Norwich-New London metropolitan area remains relatively quiet, as there are few pedestrians; however those who are near one of the railway lines may experience more noise.
