Cars are a great transportation option in this city. Many real estate listings are a rather short car ride from the closest highway, and parking is easy. On the other hand, traveling by public transit is difficult in Mason. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily very close by. This part of the Lansing metropolitan area is not very amenable to cycling because there are few bike lanes, and there are a fair number of elevation changes. Getting around as a pedestrian is also not particularly convenient for home buyers in Mason because few common errands can be run without a car.
