Driving is a very good mode of transportation in Markham. It is very easy to park. Markham is not very bike-friendly as this community has rather poor bicycling infrastructure. Nonetheless, cyclists do not face significant hills. Markham is also not very well-suited for people who prefer to get around as pedestrians since very few common errands can be run without the use of a car.

Primary schools are very easy to reach as a pedestrian from any location in this community. On the other hand, Markham does not contain any high schools. With regards to eating, it is rarely an option for property owners in this community to travel to the nearest grocery store without a vehicle. Markham is a wonderful community to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed environment. Markham is excellent for those who enjoy a quiet atmosphere, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamor.
