High schools and primary schools are not abundant in this community, and therefore not always within a short distance. Besides public schools, there are private elementary and high schools. In terms of eating, it is occasionally practical for property owners in this part of the Greater Philadelphia metropolitan area to do their grocery shopping without a vehicle. Maple Glen is a very good community to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm atmosphere. Maple Glen is very quiet, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic. It is sometimes hard to access parks in the community since they aren't well-distributed. Despite that, there are about 20 parks close by for residents to enjoy.
