Harvard Way in particular offers a wide selection of bars. Lower Allston is quiet overall, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue, although there are still several louder areas, especially around the railway line. There are over 50 public green spaces nearby for residents to relax in, including Herter Park and Magazine Beach, making it very easy to access them from most locations within the neighborhood.
