Its location provides convenient access to a range of nearby businesses and grocery stores. Accessibility to highways is excellent, allowing for easy commuting and parking convenience. While dining options are somewhat limited, the overall convenience and calm atmosphere contribute to Lakeridge’s charm. Parks and green spaces in adjacent neighborhoods ensure outdoor recreational opportunities remain within easy reach.

It is easy for pedestrians to navigate this neighborhood; many daily errands can be run without needing a vehicle, and there are also a good number of businesses nearby. However, Lakeridge is not particularly bike-friendly as the bicycling network is not especially comprehensive, and cyclists encounter a considerable amount of hills. This neighborhood is very car friendly. Most homes for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway, and coming across a parking spot is quite easy. On the other hand, the public transit in Lakeridge is not very practical. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighborhood.

The closest grocery store in this area is typically only a rather short trip away. Moreover, Lakeridge is a good place in which to eat out, and a small variety of cafes is available as well. When it comes to education, locals will welcome that no matter where their property is located in this part of the city, primary schools are close by. On the other hand, it can be very hard to travel to high schools from houses for sale in Lakeridge. Home owners can choose between public and private elementary schools.

Character

Lakeridge is a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to the feel of this part of the city. Lakeridge is very quiet, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic. However, there are a few public green spaces nearby for residents to visit, such as Bartley Ranch Park, and they are very well-situated, which makes them easy to reach. Lastly, even though this part of Reno is not known for its vibrancy, with the bars in nearby neighborhoods, it is easy to find a place to grab a drink as they are generally located a short distance away.
