Its location provides convenient access to a range of nearby businesses and grocery stores. Accessibility to highways is excellent, allowing for easy commuting and parking convenience. While dining options are somewhat limited, the overall convenience and calm atmosphere contribute to Lakeridge’s charm. Parks and green spaces in adjacent neighborhoods ensure outdoor recreational opportunities remain within easy reach.

It is convenient for pedestrians to move around in Lakeridge; meeting day-to-day needs is easy without a car, and there are also a fair number of businesses nearby. However, cycling is at times challenging in Lakeridge since there is a significant amount of slopes, and the bicycling network is not especially well-developed. Cars are a very good transportation option in this part of the city. It is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway from anywhere in Lakeridge, and it is very easy to park. However, the public transit service in Lakeridge is not very frequent. Nonetheless, the neighborhood is connected by a few bus lines.

Services

It is convenient to reach the closest supermarket without a vehicle from anywhere in Lakeridge. Furthermore, a restaurant is usually just around the corner, and a limited number of cafes can be found as well. Concerning education, it is a short trip to get to primary schools from most homes for sale in this part of the city. However, it can be very difficult to access high schools from homes for sale in Lakeridge. Locals have the choice between public and private elementary schools.

Character

Lakeridge is a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to the ambience of this part of Reno. Although this area is not known for its lively atmosphere, with the bars in nearby neighborhoods, it is easy to find a place to grab a drink as they are generally located close by. Lakeridge is very good for those who enjoy quiet surroundings, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. There are a few public green spaces nearby for residents to unwind in, like Bartley Ranch Park, and they are very well-distributed, which results in them being easy to get to from numerous locations within Lakeridge.
