La Aldea is an extraordinarily convenient part of Gilbert for moving around by car. It is very easy to find a place to park. On the other hand, La Aldea is not an especially pleasant part of Gilbert for traveling by public transit. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighborhood, and bus stops are typically around the corner. The bicycle is a sometimes poor means of transportation in La Aldea. Thankfully, there are a good number of bike lanes, and the topography is moderately flat. This part of Gilbert is also not very conducive to pedestrians as running common errands is at times challenging without a car.

Locals will find that no matter where their property is situated in this neighborhood, both primary and secondary schools are nearby. Regarding food, a supermarket is typically reachable within a very long distance from most homes for sale in this part of the town. In addition, a restaurant is often just around the corner.
