Driving is very often the best transportation option in Knik-Fairview. This part of the Anchorage metropolitan area is not very bike-friendly since there are a fair number of hills, and the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed. Traveling as a pedestrian is also not very practical for home buyers in Knik-Fairview since many daily needs are very impractical to meet without a vehicle.

High schools and primary schools are not numerous in Knik-Fairview, and thus not always within a short distance.
