Kennesaw is not very suited for cycling because there is a considerable amount of slopes, and there are few bike lanes. Getting around as a pedestrian is also not very convenient for residents in this part of the Atlanta metropolitan area since most day-to-day needs are sometimes difficult to meet without the use of a vehicle.

The nearest grocery store in Kennesaw is usually only a long pedestrian trip away. Moreover, this part of the Atlanta metropolitan area is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat, and a limited variety of coffee shops is available as well. Regarding education, there are only a very small number of high schools and primary schools in Kennesaw and consequently they can be a very long trip away. Kennesaw is a very good city to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed environment. The noise levels in this part of the Atlanta metropolitan area are very low, as the streets are very tranquil. Finally, the majority of locations within the city have reasonably good access to green spaces, like Big Shanty Park and Adams Park, since there are over 50 of them nearby for residents to visit and getting to a park is easy from a lot of properties for sale.
