The car is usually the preferred approach to navigate Kalihiwai. Kalihiwai is not very cycling-friendly because this community has quite poor bicycling infrastructure. Thankfully, most of the topography is relatively flat. Kalihiwai is also not very well-suited for pedestrians because carrying out daily needs is very impractical without the use of a car.
