Transportation
Cars are a great means of transportation in Kahului. The city block layout is reasonably conducive to driving, and accessing a parking spot is quite easy. This area is not particularly suitable for those who like to travel as pedestrians as few day-to-day errands can be run without a car. The bicycle is a sometimes poor method of transportation in this part of Central Maui since cyclists encounter a considerable amount of elevation changes, and there are few bike lanes.

The nearest supermarket in Kahului is typically only a rather long distance away. Likewise, Kahului is a fairly good place in which to eat out, and there are also about 20 cafes in this part of the community. With respect to education, both primary and secondary schools are convenient to reach without the need for a vehicle from most properties for sale in this area.
