Residents benefit from numerous dining options along with grocery stores just a short distance away, ensuring daily needs are met with ease. Featuring predominantly two- and three-bedroom homes, including single detached houses and townhouses, the neighborhood presents a charming mix of mid-20th-century architecture with comfortable living options.
Property owners who value residing in a compact community will be pleased with the moderately pedestrian-friendly nature of Jackson; meeting daily needs is convenient without a car, and there are also a fair number of businesses close by. This area is also a fairly pleasant part of Salt Lake City for bike riders. For instance, there are a limited number of elevation changes. Jackson is very car friendly. It is easy to come across a place to park, and the majority of houses for sale are a very short car ride from the closest highway, such as I-15. However, traveling by transit can be at times difficult in Jackson by reason of the service's low frequency. Nonetheless, the closest rapid transit station, such as Fairpark Station, Old Greektown Station and Jackson / Euclid Station with access to the 704 Green Line and 701 Blue Line, is typically a short distance away from most properties in the neighborhood. Commuters benefit from the North Temple Station on the 750 FrontRunner. Residents are served by about 10 bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop.
It is especially convenient to access the closest grocery store as a pedestrian from anywhere in this area. Furthermore, there are a fair number of choices in close proximity for those who care about restaurants and cafes. Concerning education, primary schools are straightforward to get to as a pedestrian from most homes for sale in Jackson. However, there are no high schools in this part of the city.
Jackson is a great part of the city for home buyers who enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities. Although this area is not known for its vibrancy, with the bars in nearby neighborhoods, it is very easy to find a place to grab a drink as they are generally located very close by. However, there are approximately 10 public green spaces close by for residents to discover, including Utah State Fair Park, and they are especially well-spread out, which makes them easy to access from the majority of locations within this part of Salt Lake City.
