The car is very often the favored method to get around in Halifax. It is very convenient to park. However, the public transit system in Halifax is not very practical. Nevertheless, residents profit from the Halifax with access to the Kingston Line. There are no bus routes crossing the town. This area is not very suitable for pedestrians because meeting daily needs is difficult without the use of a car. Halifax is also not very bike-friendly as there are a good number of hills, and this town has quite poor bicycling infrastructure.
